Bill Gates, formally known as William Henry Gates Third. He founded the world's most expensive and significant software business company called Microsoft. He is an American businessman, investor, writer, humanitarian and one of the most richest men in the world.

He was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle Washington to William Henry Gates second and Mary Gates. His parents were literate because his father was an advocate and his mother was a school teacher in Seattle Washington. When he was in an elementary school he developed an interest in computer.
2 BILL'S SCHOOL LIFE☆
When he was an Elementary student, his school teachers and principal knew that he had some special brain power to be great in future. The principal advised his parents to enroll him in a good private school. So in 1967, Bill Gates attended Lakeside Primary School. While there, he developed an interest in computing. At the age of thirteen, he wrote his first software on a school computer. In 1968, Bill Gates started his career in programming with Paul Allen, whom he met at the school. From there they became good friends.
At the age of seventeen, he created a test called Traf-O-Data. He graduated from high school in 1973. During college exams, he got 1590 marks out of 1600 in the SATs. He was a national Merit Scholar. In 1973, he got admission in Harvard College to study Law. First he wanted to become a lawyer like his father, but when his friend told him to start a business then he started his career in business field.

Bill Gates still engrossed in computers, and Paul Allen wanted him to start a business. In 1975, at the age of 20 Bill Gates signed up for a job with MITS. MITS was the creator of the world's first Personal Computer. That year he founded Microsoft. They applied BASIC, a famous programming language for computers. This quickly became successful, and they continued to develop the computing languages for other systems. In 1976, Gates and Paul Allen registered his trademark 'Microsoft'. In 1979, Microsoft moved to Washington. After their success, they were accessed by IBM in 1980.

In 1980, when the IBM approached him to sign a contract with IBM. They signed a contract with IBM to write the software for their upcoming line of PCs. Microsoft bought the rights of the system called 'DOS' in 1981. Bill Gates renamed it to MS-DOS. In 1985, Windows 1.o was launched by Microsoft. Over the following years, Windows became a prominent software. About 90% of the market shares was taken by Windows. Bill Gates flourished financially and in 1987, at the age of 31, he became the youngest billionaire ever. In 1989, Microsoft launched Microsoft Office. The system contained applications like Microsoft Word and Excel, which are daily used worldwide right now. The same year he founded Corbis. It was an application to organize collections of art and photography. It became the first collection of visual information in the world.
In 1995, Microsoft launched Windows 95. Gates introduced the Internet Explorer browser to the world.

At the age of 35, Bill Gates became the world's richest man. He is also known as a great writer and has published many books. In 1995, he released his first book titled The Road Ahead. The story was about Gates' vision for the digital future. It became a New York Times bestseller. In 1999, he published another book called Business @ the Speed of Thought. Bill Gates described how business and technology are connected to each other in this book.

In the year 2000, he stepped down from the position of CEO. ( CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER) he took the title of Chairman until 2014. Currently he plays an important role of a technology advisor to support the CEO. He started to spend his more time in philanthropic pursuits. In 2000, he and his wife founded Bill and Melinda Gatea Foundation. They declared that about $1billion would be given to help 20,000 young people for their college education.

He and his wife Melinda Gates Founded Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The foundation is known as one of the world's most important private foundations. In 2006, he launched an eco-friendly proproject project called TerraPower, whose aims to provide the world with an affordable and environmental form of nuclear energy.

Bill Gates received many awards for his exceptional work including the Jefferson Award for Greatest Public Service in 2002. In 2010, he received The Bower Award for business Leadership from The Franklin Institute. In 2015, he received India's third highest civilian honor, The Padma Bhushan.
In 1987, he met Melinda French for the first time. And on January 1, 1994, Melinda and Bill gote married in Hawaii. They have three children. Their names are following;
